Update of the Navigation Documents due to Changes of Authority in Charge of the Radio Accounts, Dimensions and Tonnage, Change of Service or Resident Agent.

Obtention Requirements:

  1. Request presentation.
  2. The ship should be in good standing of its due taxes and the navigation documents.
  3. Payment of the rights of the requested procedure.
  4. Active SMC for change of service, when applicable.
  5. Audit certificate issued by the RO in case of tonnage change.
  6. Original of the ship’s resident agent designation instrument. If it is issued offshore it shall be presented duly authenticated.

The Department of Ship Registry, may request the presentation of any other additional document it deems convenient, either by the condition of the ship, its age, the service offered or the geographical area where it navigates.
